R&M Electrical – 25 Years Experience, 1000 Years Commitment!

March 15, 2012 - PRLog -- To celebrate its 25 years in the business R&M have organised a raft of initiatives throughout the year, including the launch of a new look website, and the publication of two new catalogues targeting both the Specialist and Commercial markets they supply, due to be launched in the Spring of 2012.  There will also be a raft of literature and promotional material with competitions for both customers and employees to get involved in.  

Founded in 1987, R&M have grown substantially in the past 25 years, both by expanding within national markets (they have 10 separate divisions within the UK), and by exporting its particularly successful business model to the Middle East and Caspian Regions,   with activities stretching across Europe, The Caspian, Middle East, Australia, Africa, South America and Asia – making it one of the largest independently owned electrical distributors in the country.

R&M contributes its success to the high quality and diverse range of products and services it is able to offer.  Renowned for stocking some of the world’s leading electrical manufacturers, its product range covers cable and cable management products, lighting, switch gear and distribution, control gear and domestic wiring products,  and has a particular emphasis in supplying specialist areas including hazardous area electrical equipment, onshore and offshore power and instrumentation cables and test instruments.

What helps set R&M apart from its competitors are the four specialist divisions it has created, R&M Cables, R&M Assembly and Power Distribution, R&M Projects & Exports and R&M Fixings & Supports.  These divisions have proved an unqualified success with exports to over 70 countries world-wide winning many internationally significant contracts and projects since being established in 1996.
