March 16, 2012 - PRLog -- 9th Annual Newmarket Mitsubishi Youth Road Hockey Challenge

The 2012 Friendly Neighbourhood Youth Road Hockey Challenge is free to all youths 12-18. Pick-up games for all ages including parent-tots area. Live youthful entertainment and comedy play-by-play with Gripes.

TPE presents Youth focused Entertainers with hip hoppers Khryme Syndicate and special guests as well an open stage at the new Riverwalk Commons outdoor stage and inside the nearby Main Street located Bookstore Cafe & Things where we'll be featuring songwriter and host Fred Joly, as well as sets by Krhyme Syndicate and special guests.

The road hockey tourney is based around The Newmarket Community Centre and registration area inside and out. We will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers and refreshments to aid in expenses. Tournament players eat for free. Proceeds from food sales will help raise the last $500 needed for the $1,000 Youth Education Award, so come out and eat one!
