March 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Fort Pierce, FL:  Monday, March 26th 2012:  The Tropical Smoothie Café, Fort Pierce store attended the grand event, The Taste of St Lucie County, to support the charity – Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

Commenting on the event, Store Owner, Mike Fletcher said, “This is the first time we have participated in this event and we were excited to see over 2,000 people.  It was a great atmosphere and we were delighted to support such a worthy cause.  I would personally like to thank all our customers for coming out to support Big Brothers and Big Sisters.  This event certainly contributed to raising our brand locally”.

The event took place Wednesday, March 21st at Downtown Fort Pierce, between 5:30-8:30pm.  During this time, Tropical Smoothie Café gave away over 700 smoothies and 750 coupons.  

Tropical Smoothie Café has six stores locally in Port St Lucie and Indian River County.
