“Jeff Caughron” wins “Best Rock Guitar” award at the “Music City Mayhem Awards.”

March 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Nashville TN –Jackson, TN guitarist Jeff Caughron wins the award “Best Rock Guitar” for the 2012 “Metal Mayhem Awards.” Jeff Caughron is the guitar player for “Jasmine Cain”, hit rock band “Every Mother’s Nightmare” and for various other projects.

Jeff Caughron is a self-taught guitar player who is mastering the axe with authority and passion. Jeff has played in several bands throughout the years and eventually landed the opportunity to open for a Billboard chart toppers "Every Mother’s Nightmare." Jeff joined and playes with EMN for the last 15 years. Having recorded 4 albums, 3 tributes’ for a combined total of over 800,000 CD's! Jeff has shared the stage, tour buses and collaborated with some of the biggest stars in the business (such as). At the end of 2006, he started writing and touring with rock artist Jasmine Cain, making his first appearance at Sturgis. Since joining Jasmine Cain, Jeff has been support for numerous major acts Shinedown, Alice Cooper, Heart, Poison, Ratt, Big & Rich and Tesla since then. He has also appeared on the major TV networks TruTV, Speed Channel and The Discover Channel and in several major magazine publications, also releasing two CD's with them that have won numerous awards.  Jeff eventually moved to Jackson, TN where he would end up writing and performing with two more acts including Trash The Band and country artist Blair Simpson to expand his horizon. Jeff eventually met with members of the rock group Full Devil Jacket and hit it off well becoming friends with the FDJ crew. Sadly, the guitarist Michael Reeves was diagnosed with cancer and with time passed away.. With time gone by, Jeff started writing with some of the guys and was honored to stand in Mike's spot for a benefit (Mike Reeves foundation). In early 2012, Jeff was asked to write with the band and seems as though they hit it off well with Jeff becoming the newest member of the FDJ crew.
