March 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Los Angeles –  e-Stet, a specialized provider of electronic litigation technology services, today announces that Brett Thompson has joined the company as Vice President of Managed Litigation Services (MLS). e-Stet’s MLS solution for corporations and law firms consolidates a complete hardware and software infrastructure into e-Stet’s cloud. Thompson will work in concert with the company’s executive management team to engineer custom solutions, establish market strategies, and develop the service line.

“Brett’s diverse expertise in legal technology makes him an outstanding addition to the team,” stated Salim Elkhou, CEO of e-Stet. “We look forward to Brett’s continued efforts in establishing e-Stet as a leader in cloud-based computing.”

Thompson brings more than 18 years of experience in the litigation support industry to the team. Thompson spent the first 12 years of his career managing large litigation matters with two prominent Washington, D.C. law firms where he played a key role in the development of their litigation technology infrastructure. In recent years, Thompson has focused on project management and creating efficiencies in the discovery process. He has extensive experience handling global matters ranging from forensic collection to hosted review.

Thompson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, where he also earned a Paralegal Certificate.

e-Stet’s MLS offering transfers a client’s complete hardware and software infrastructure into e-Stet’s cloud, thereby enabling a firm or corporation to focus on its core business. Under this service offering, e-Stet remains software agnostic, encouraging the client to choose its preferred software suites and hardware configurations. MLS is built around a dedicated Tier 1 setup. Full redundancy and disaster recovery mechanisms are standard. Litigation and discovery data remain fully accessible by the client, but are wholly managed by e-Stet’s team of professionals.

Thompson will be based in the company’s Washington, D.C. office.
