Dynetics Unveils New AssuredCompliance TX3B Software for Enterprise C&A and Risk Management

March 27, 2012 - PRLog -- TUCSON, Ariz., March 27, 2012 – Dynetics today unveiled Dynetics AssuredCompliance™ TX3B, the newest release of the company’s commercial-off-the-shelf software products for automated DIACAP and NIST 800-53 certification and accreditation (C&A) and risk management. AssuredCompliance TX3B offers new features for enterprise C&A and risk management, including single sign-on (SSO) access using the Department of Defense (DoD) common access card (CAC), advanced digital signature capabilities, email notification services and expanded support for NIST 800-53 Rev 3 Risk Management Framework. AssuredCompliance TX3B is on demonstration here this week at the TechNet Land Forces Southwest Conference (booth #17) and will be available for customer delivery on April 16.

AssuredCompliance TX3B is an important advancement in automated solutions for enterprise C&A and risk management, as it expands capabilities for C&A and risk management stakeholders throughout an enterprise. Details of key new features in TX3B include:

• Single sign-on (SSO)/common access card (CAC) support: TX3B offers optional support for single sign-on (SSO) to AssuredCompliance via the DoD common access card (CAC). Users who opt not to use CAC can use AssuredCompliance’s internal or LDAP authentication methods. With TX3B’s CAC option, users easily and conveniently authenticate into AssuredCompliance applications using their CAC cards as part of the secure SSO process they are accustomed to engaging in on a daily basis.

• Advanced digital signature capabilities:  AssuredCompliance TX3B supports optional digital signature capabilities provided by the DBsign® Data Security Suite from Gradkell Systems Inc. (See March 20 Dynetics press release on Dynetics-Gradkell Systems OEM partnership.) DBsign enables AssuredCompliance users to digitally sign the data underlying reports and artifacts auto-generated by AssuredCompliance, rather than simply affixing digital signatures to documents once they have been generated. DBsign enables AssuredCompliance users to avoid the multiple, time-consuming steps that most digital signers typically go through to sign documents.

• Email notification services: AssuredCompliance TX3B offers email notifications as part of the standard delivery of AssuredCompliance Knowledge Manager. Per the C&A process, Knowledge Manager emails automated notifications to certifying and approving/authorizing officials regarding next-step actions they are responsible for taking.

• NIST SP 800-53 Rev 3 support: AssuredCompliance TX3B fully supports the Risk Management Framework as defined by NIST Special Publication 800-53 Rev 3 / 53A Rev 1. TX3B also offers the flexible structure to support upcoming NIST Special Publication 800-53 Rev 4, as well as the upcoming Defense Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF) and other information security frameworks.
