Loadcraft Industries Launches New Silos Products at PA Summit

March 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Loadcraft Industries launches the LCI Rhino Sand Silo as well as Water and Acid Silos at the 4th Annual Marcellus Shale Summit: Drilling and Completions. 



The Marcellus Shale Summitt held at the Westin Convention Center in Pittsburg, PA provides a forum for a variety of stakeholders and experts in the field of shale gas production to meet and discuss key issues.

At the Summit, Loadcraft Industries introduces the Sand Silo as an improvement and asset to the sand availability in the fracking industry. Some of the features of the the LCI Rhino Sand Silo include  a smaller footprint with sand storage capabilities of 1,260,00 lbs of sand per set or 2,520,000 lbs of sand per designed 6 pack, which results in demurrage costs that are greatly reduced among other benefits.  


The same line of benefits would follow with Water Silos with 850 Barrels per silo  and 2,550 Barrels per set  and Acid Silos capable of holding 300 Barrels per silo and 600 Barrels per set.



Fracking is the term used for hydraulic fracturing which is a process that extracts petroleum, natural gas, seam gas, or other substances from from areas with fractures in a rock layer. The process uses pressurized water, sand and chemicals and requires on site storage for each material.
