Mid-America Association of Real Estate Investors was introduced to the Private Money Exchange. The concept is one that many real estate investors have been requesting for several years as it can help real estate investors get back to business.

The Private Money market has been around for real estate investors for years.  Investors who have the track record have partnered and borrowed from people with the funds and by passed the banks all together.  But the whole concept meant you had to seek out the people with funds to lend and who were willing to take a chance on you as the real estate investor and your real estate investment deal

Hard Money
This also has been around for quite a long time for the real estate investor.  People with the funds saw a need to lend to those who need the funds and created a business around that, charging high interest and point up front, for the use of their quick and fast funding.  Over the past 3 or 4 years, though many of the institutional hard money lenders have gone away causing a need for an alternative.

Private Money Exchange.
Started in 2009 by Lee Arnold who has been in the industry for 15 years as a successful investor and lender.  Arnold saw a need as there is abundant discounted real estate available, but many are not in a position to take advantage as money is not currently readily available.  The opportunity now is to have a good deal that make sense and will qualify as security for the money and the borrower has the experience necessary to satisfy the lender.  The role of the Private Money Exchange is to evaluate and determine risk and qualifications of the borrower and then to package the deal so it makes sense.

What makes the Exchange different is that it offers a full service lending product through a national network of thousands of affiliates:  investors, lenders, realtors and more who are feeding the Exchange with deals, investors and lenders.  The deals must qualify.  The money borrowed must make sense.  The borrowers must be trustworthy and the Lenders must be comfortable with the deal.  Put this all together and you have a formula for success.
