Grange Insurance Association in Seattle Names New Claims Leader

April 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Seattle, WA - based Grange Insurance Association (GIA) has named Jim Van Farowe as its new Chief Claims Executive.  He will be responsible for the management of the entire claims operation of the six states GIA operates in.  He replaces Rudy Werle who is retiring in April.  

Van Farowe was most recently the Director of Claims for Esurance, Inc. in Sacramento, CA.  Before that he was Assistant Vice President of Claims for Grange Insurance of Ohio (no relationship to GIA) and Casualty Claims Director for Nationwide Insurance.  He started his insurance career with Nationwide as a multiline claims adjustor in Portland, OR over 20 years ago.  He is a graduate of Florida State University and holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation
