TT electronics IMS earned recognition for its demonstrated quality, on-time delivery, and customer service for the Cubic MILES IWS and PLS programs. Cubic’s MILES Individual Weapon System (IWS) is the U.S. Army’s latest generation tactical engagement simulation system in use today. The army chose Cubic’s MILES IWS to replace basic MILES at their home stations and Combat Maneuver Training Centers worldwide. U.S. and allied combat search and rescue crews rely upon Cubic’s Personnel Locator System (PLS) to help them covertly retrieve and provide assistance to downed military personnel behind enemy lines. Cubic’s system is the standard system carried onboard helicopters used for close air support. The award from Cubic Defense Applications recognized TT electronics’ performance as an example of supplier performance required to maintain leadership in the defense industry.
