Acclaimed D.C. Band Releases Soulful Solo Project from Lead Singer Precious JoubertSound of the City Music Group, Inc., a D.C.-based music production company, released the first album -- in a series of solo albums from the band Sound of the City (SOTC) -- by its lead singer Precious Joubert. The album is entitled "In the Meantime."

It's quite easy to put someone into a box visually, but when putting together this project, I wanted to show the many ‘faces’ of Precious Joubert. Joubert added: “I'm a woman who has a lot to say, and fortunately for me, I am a singer-songwriter who has an artistic platform that allows me to express myself. Every song tells a story about what I have experienced or personally witnessed. I find authenticity and relevance is the best way to truly connect with a song. Writing songs that others can relate to is important to me."
