Stiles Partnership's Focus on 800 Brickell Yields 2012 Building of the Year Award

Tenants leasing at 800 Brickell in recent months include The Sol Group international resort and hotel management company; CMGRP, a division of The Interpublic Group, Inc.; the Blue Print Group, LLC, communication and marketing firm; Creative Spanish Group marketing company; Employee Mobility Solutions, an immigration and relocation services firm; and Swett & Crawford, a global insurance broker.  They joined a distinguished tenant roster that includes Ferragamo International, Totalbank, Banco de Brasil, the Chilean Trade Commission and Conde Nast America.

According to Michael Taylor, Stiles Director of Real Estate, Miami-Dade County, 800 Brickell offers a distinctive charm and human scale, set among more massive office towers.  “We’re seen increased activity in the Brickell submarket in the last six months,” he said.  “By focusing on 800 Brickell’s ‘sweet spot’ – companies that need both prestige and highly flexible space -- we’re aggressively attracting new tenants.”
The TOBY Earth Award, which BOMA Miami-Dade presented to Stiles’ team in March, honored 800 Brickell for achieving superior performance in all aspects of the building’s management, while preserving and enhancing the internal and external environment through sustainable programs.  

The Stiles partnership invested in efficient energy systems and advanced technology for 800 Brickell and upgraded enhancements throughout, from the three-story, glass-walled lobby atrium to the complex’s grounds.  The building achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification in December 2011 and also earned the distinguished U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR rating in 2009 and 2010.  BOMA previously honored 800 Brickell with a 2009-2010 TOBY award in the 100,000-249,000 Square Feet category.
