International Registration That Unifies Mental Health Services

April 10, 2012 - PRLog -- The ICPT has unified mental health practitioners in 150 countries all following the ICPT universal codes of conduct, practice and ethics, setting universal standards which improves mental health practices and protects service users internationally.

ICPT supports the work of its members and brings provides international attention and recognition of it members.

The ICPT encourages mental health organizations and mental health practitioners to share case studies, research and academia so as to better mental health services worldwide and create recognition of each others practices of which all is directed towards awareness and offering and applying better practices which benefits service users internationally

By creating international awareness of all countries mental health policies and practices as well as the needs of service users and comparison of services and standards of service providers we are better able to bring about awareness which is placed as a comparable which does lead towards improvements.

ICPT aims to to further remove stigma of drug addiction and mental health in countries where cultural does not yet full accept such issues and people still have to suffer in silence.

The unification of practitioners and mental health providers under ICPT in 150 countries has provided a force that is able to be affective in implementing change for the better, ICPT strives towards this, unified by a mutual international ethos shared by all ICPT members in 150 countries.
