By: Tricia Fleming The Fair, free for families and individuals with disabilities, will feature a Resource Fair, enabling attendees the opportunity to speak with representatives from more than 100 agencies and vendors. A variety of workshops and seminars are offered throughout the day. Workshop topics included: The New IEP, Social Stories and Autism, Entitlements, Crisis Resources, and more. Services for all age groups will be represented and include: Advocacy, After-School, Early Intervention, Special Education, Family Reimbursement, Day Programs, Vocational Programs, Respite, Residential, and more. The Fair will be held at Brooklyn College’s Student Union Building at Campus Road and East 27th Street. It is accessible via the bus: B6, B11, B41, B44, B49, or Q35; or subway: Q to Ave. J, transfer to B6 or B11 bus to Campus Rd., or 2 and 5 to Brooklyn College-Flatbush Ave. To register for the Fair, please Christopher Greif, Brooklyn Family Support Services Advisory Council, at (718) 642-8512 or bfssac@yahoo.com.
