Intrepid iDream.TV Media Production Company Wins Coveted Business Award

April 16, 2012 - PRLog -- The Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce has selected multimedia production company iDream.TV to receive a 2012 “Best in Business” award in the Small Business category. A panel of regional business experts selected this year’s winners from dozens of nominees, based on an evaluation of how their growth strategies and community initiatives have enhanced and enriched our region’s business climate.  

Launched in 1985 by co-founders Edie French and Paul Auguston. iDream.TV provides full-service multimedia services in studio and on location, including video production, green screen, web video, video streaming, podcasting, webinars and digital photography. The company’s first project was a documentary film for the University of Minnesota about a scientific expedition to view a solar eclipse in sub-zero temperatures. Today, iDream.TV’s creative team and production crew meets the communication challenges of a rapidly growing client base of business, education and arts organizations around the globe.

President and CEO Edie French says that iDream.TV has thrived during the last few years thanks to a steadfast commitment to quality and nimble adaption to rapidly evolving technology and marketplace demands. “In response to the economic downturn we developed a suite of lower cost products to address the needs of small business and entrepreneurs—who represent the largest segment of business nationally and in Minnesota—in promoting themselves,” says French. “This strategy provided staying power not only for us, but for our clients as well."

In addition to iDream.TV, this year’s Best in Business Award winners include Goodwill/Easter Seals, Minnesota, Matreks Printing, and Print 4 Change. The Chamber of Commerce has invited the business community to a luncheon honoring the awardees on April 19, 2012, from 11:30a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Graves 601 Hotel in downtown Minneapolis.
