Casey Dougherty of Coldwell Banker Select Professionals Named to RAYAC Foundation 2012 Board

April 16, 2012 - PRLog -- (Hanover, PA – April 16, 2012) Casey Dougherty, Associate Broker with the Hanover office of Coldwell Banker Select Professionals, has been named to the Board of Directors for the Realtors Association of York and Adams Counties (RAYAC) Foundation.  The RAYAC foundation is a non profit that supports area charitable organizations.

Dougherty has been actively involved in the RAYAC real estate industry organization, serving on various committees and as a Director currently.  She was originally licensed in New York in 1980 and entered the real estate field full time in 1990.  After operating an agency elsewhere she relocated to Pennsylvania in 2005.  In 2011 she was appointed as a Director for the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors.  “I am a firm believer in giving back and in education” commented Dougherty.  She also holds the CRS, GRI, CBR, SRES, ASP and E-Pro professional designations in addition to her broker license.

The RAYAC foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit that supports Habitat for Humanity as well as other charities who promote housing needs in the York County and Adams County region.  Funding is raised throughout each year by members of RAYAC and distributed through a grants application program overseen by the foundation Board of Directors.  Recent recipients of foundation support have included the Adams County Rescue Mission, American Red Cross, York Rescue Mission and the Hoffman Homes for York.  Funds were also contributed to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition for its York County 2011 Build.
