ITS Academy of Beauty in El Paso Adds Hair Through Extensions

    Thanks to new training in fusion and the addition of Babe Hair Extensions, students at ITS Academy of Beauty, 750 Sunland Parks Drive in Sunland Park Mall in El Paso can add hair extensions to their growing list of amenities they offer clients.
    To celebrate the addition of this new service, the El Paso cosmetology schools is offering Babe Hair Extensions for $395 (normally $495.) A partial head of extensions that would normally be $250 will be offered for $195. In addition there are also multi colored fashion hair extensions starting at $4 and up. Prices reflect the cost of the hair and the installation. Hair extensions in some salons can cost up to $6,000.
     Babe Hair Extensions are 100% human hair that can be washed, curled, flat-ironed, conditioned, permed and colored. The extensions are fused to the client’s hair using a painless, fusion process with a microbead.  The extensions last from three to eight months depending on how the client cares for their hair.
    “Babe Hair Extensions not only add length and volume to our client’s hair, it adds depth to the training we offer our cosmetology students,” said Margie Wisniski, vice president of operations.
    According to a U.S. News and World Report hairdresser is cited as one of the best jobs of 2012. In a March 21, 2012 article in USA Today, beauty salon sales grew 5.4 %.4 in the last two years vs. a 2.3% sales increase in 2009.  With the Bureau of Labor Statistics projections of 15.7% employment growth expected by 2020, the future of hair salons and the future of hair stylists should continue to grow.
