Degafloor - the natural choice for Whole Foods Market

Oct. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Whole Foods Market, have recently opened a stunning new store in Giffnock, Glasgow and turned to Degafloor, and installation partner Veitchi Industrial Flooring Ltd, to provide floor finishes that maximise employee safety.

This new store heralds the next stage of development in the UK for USA based Whole Foods Market, the world's largest retailer of natural and organic food products.  The Whole Foods Market retail concept provides an extensive fresh, often made as you wait, food offering that is available via food servery counters.  These incredibly busy food serveries require hard wearing floor finishes that offer outstanding slip resistance to cope with the inevitable spills that occur in such fast paced environments.

Following consultation with their architects and construction partners, Whole Foods Market specified a Degafloor FB resin flooring system for all food preparation and servery areas.  Well proven in food production and commercial catering environments, the FB system offers a totally seamless and hygienic finish, outstanding durability and slip resistance that is second to none.  Additionally, the MMA resins that form the basis for all Degafloor systems cure incredibly quickly to minimise installation times and the impact on operations and / or the construction programme.
