Michigan Mobile / Wireless Technology Trade Association Announces Expanded Board of Directors and New Members
April 28, 2012 - PRLog -- DETROIT – The Mobile Technology Association of Michigan (MTAM), Michigan’s non-profit trade association for the mobile / wireless technology industry, announces the addition of several new members to its Board of Directors. They include:

•   Jeffrey Hipchen, Executive Vice-president, RF Connect (Farmington Hills)
•   Elaina Farnsworth, CEO, Mobile Comply (Clarkston)
•   Scott Wruble, Vice-president of Information Technology, Palace Sports and Entertainment (Auburn Hills)

They join existing Board members:

•   Cynthia Grubbs, Small Business Liaison, Michigan Economic Development Corporation (Lansing)
•   Jason Joseph, Director of Technology and Information Solutions, Spectrum Health Systems (Grand Rapids)
•   Jonathan Engelsma, Associate Professor, School of Computer Science and Information Systems, Grand Valley State University and Director, GVSU Mobile Applications and Services Lab (Grand Rapids)
•   Rob Kamal, CEO, KoHorts IT (Brighton)
•   Linda Daichendt, Executive Director, Mobile Technology Association of Michigan and Co-founder, Mobile Monday Michigan (Southfield)

MTAM executive director Linda Daichendt indicates, “We’re excited to add these individuals to MTAM’s Board as they provide an opportunity to broaden the organization’s representation of the various sectors of the mobile / wireless eco-system, which in-turn, offers expanded knowledge and capabilities to help achieve our mission of statewide growth for the industry and the creation of more mobile / wireless-related jobs in Michigan.  Each of these individuals brings unique perspective and experience with mobile / wireless technology, and we are confident this will translate into tremendous value for our members, the statewide industry and the verticals impacted by these technologies.”
