RJ Millar to Present at the OC Health Practitioners' Group

May 1, 2012 - PRLog -- In the early 1930’s Omega-6 accounted for .2% of our dietary calories, however, today it accounts for 20% of our daily calories. This 100% increase in dietary Omega-6 leads to massive imbalances of the Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio in our bodies resulting in an Omega-3 deficiency.

As a result, we are seeing rises in the top 10 diseases associated with Omega-3 deficiency such as: Cancer, Heart Disease, Stroke, Alzheimer’s, Diabetes, Obesity, Cardiovascular Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Breast Cancer and ADHD.

But not all Omega-3’s are the same. As humans we require longer chained Polyunsaturate fatty acids than those provided by flax or fish oil – the exact kind found in Mammalian Omega-3.
