Rebel Ink Press is Proud to Announce the Release of The Spirit of Things by Holley Trent

The Spirit of Things, a debut release by romance author Holley Trent, will hit e-books shelves on May 3rd. Nicolette decides to return to the corporate world only to realize a man from her past is a constant reminder of what she gave up.

April 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Holley Trent grew up in rural eastern North Carolina. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's illustrious English department, she can parse Shakespearean sonnets with the best of 'em but would rather not. She's a fan of humorous romances, cozy mysteries and urban fantasy and dabbles with writing in all three.

Holley currently lives in the mile-high Rockies with two kids, her artist husband, and two cats who are the official mascots for laziness. When she's not researching ideas for her snarky Southern romances, she's lurking on the Internet. Find her online at holleytrent.com/blog and on Twitter by following @holleytrent.

The Spirit of Things will be released at several online e-book sellers including Amazon Kindle, All Romance E Books, Barnes & Noble Kindle and Bookstrand.

Back Cover Preview:
Nicolette Stacy is a twenty-eight-year-old middle school teacher who's been saddled into advising her school's rag-tag cheerleading squad. The squad is hardheaded and reckless, going so far as to execute a dangerous stunt that puts one girl in the emergency room. Having already decided to quit and return to the corporate world, Nikki wakes up one morning on the sofa of Charlie, a squad member's father, having no memory of the previous night's events. Mortified, Nikki flees to her new life and new men, but the loose ends she left behind in Tyner won't let her stay away. Can she clean up the mess she made without getting further involved?
