Commercial Fit Out Company Celebrate A Momentous Month

May 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Plymouth commercial interior fit-out company, Karris Ltd, are celebrating the end of a momentous month in the company’s history with the completion of two major landmarks in Plymouth and Exeter and being shortlisted in The Herald Business Awards’ Small Business of the Year category.

March saw the official opening of Plymouth’s Life Centre for which Karris Ltd were commissioned to supply the interior furnishing. Karris were selected by Leicestershire’s Sports and Leisure Management Ltd., who were keen to work with a local company for the fit out of the building’s front and back-of-house furnishing.

Alongside the opening of the new Life Centre, Karris Ltd have also completed the installation of the interior furniture for Exeter’s Oxygen House, the new headquarters for ATASS Group.

Located in Exeter Business Park, Oxygen House is the largest commercial development in Exeter for five years and is leading the field in the eco-conscious property arena. The 40,000 square foot building received a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ at design stage in recognition of its environmental credentials.

Karris Ltd were established in 2003 by Perri De Wan. The company’s name is derived from the Australian ‘Karri’ tree which is famed for developing strong foundations underground before growing upwards.

Vince Brooks joined Karris in 2009 as Sales Director and, since then, the company has experienced a period of rapid growth and has developed a reputation as one of the leading commercial interior fit out companies in the South West.
