Revive, Dallas' newest rooftop cabana lounge, offers a luxurious urban oasis hideaway amidst the Uptown cityscape.
 
May 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Escape the urban jungle to a luxurious rooftop oasis at Revive, soon to become Dallas’ most popular rooftop cabana lounge. A stylish sanctuary by day to relax in the sun or an ambient atmosphere by moonlight to party with friends, Revive offers succulent specialty frozen cocktails, a delectable menu created by Chef Samir Dhurandhar of Nick & Sam's, opulent private cabanas, a tranquil reflection pool, and incredible views of the Dallas skyline. Revive, located above Glass nightclub in the vibrant Uptown neighborhood, opened on April 15th.

“We are bringing a slice of Miami or Los Angeles to Dallas,” explains Taylor Nguyen, co-partner of The Ronin Group, a hospitality and entertainment collaborative which owns and operates Glass and Red Lights, two top dance clubs in Dallas, in addition to Revive. His business partner, Greg See, obtained his nightclub expertise with The Opium Group, Miami’s hospitality conglomerate.

The 3,000-square foot rooftop offers 12 plush cabanas, each outfitted with a 42” plasma screen television, satellite receiver, and mini bar stocked with personal delicacies such as energy drinks, vitamin water, mineral water, candy, sunscreen, and chilled hand towels. Each cabana provides seating for approximately eight guests, and reservations are required.  

The centerpiece of Revive is the multi-level reflection pool accented with LED lighting.  Guests may also refresh in the two-person rain shower. Branded towels are provided onsite. Unwind in front of the Cabana Bar, mingle among friends at the communal table, or relax poolside on cushioned patio furniture.

Guests may also cool off with an array of frozen specialty cocktails as well as homemade liquor-infused popsicles.  Highlights include the Cucumber-Lemonade Chiller (cucumbers, rosemary, lemon juice, gin and agave nectar), Cherry Smash (cherries, mint, simple syrup, dark rum, lime juice and cherry-flavored seltzer), and Dragonberry Mojito (Bacardi Dragonberry Rum, mint, lime and strawberries). Award-winning corporate chef and partner of Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse, Nick & Sam’s Grill, and Coal Vines Pizza & Wine Bar, Samir Dhurandhar created a delectable menu highlighting small plates like Sumer Ceviche Rolls, King Crab & Jalapeno Tacos, and Miso Skewers, as well as sandwiches and flatbreads.

The vibe is chill in this zen-like garden with music ambience created by a DJ “floating” on water. Besides pool parties, guest and local celebrity DJs, and fashion events, Revive will host “RIPE Sundays” every Sunday from noon to 10 pm with co-partners Brandon Hays, Chip Jordan, Chelsea Davis, Phil Schanbaum, and Adam Carriker.  

Revive is located above Glass at 1899 McKinney Avenue (on the corner of Akard Street), Dallas, Texas  75201.  Hours are Thursdays 4-10pm; Fridays 4pm – 2am; Saturdays 12pm – 2am; Sundays 12pm – 10pm.
