Red Gallery Presents NETWORKS Art Exhibit by Kasten Searles

Red Gallery in Dallas presents NETWORKS, an MFA thesis exhibition of new paintings by Kasten Searles, a talented emerging painter with a background in design, music and photography.
 
May 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Artist Kasten Searles’ mixed media works examine issues of identity and portraiture in an increasingly digital world in her MFA thesis exhibition of new paintings, NETWORKS. These bright and chaotic works view the individual through the lens of social media and its overabundance of information. NETWORKS is an investigation and celebration of painting in the digital age. Red Gallery is curated by Courtney Miles who received her BFA from Texas Christian University and MFA from the University of Dallas. A former high school art teacher, she now encompasses the art scene in Dallas as a multimedia artist, university instructor, executive board member of Art Conspiracy, curator of Mokah Art Gallery, and patron of the Arts and local art galleries. Her mission is to promote and help flourish the rising talent of artists in Dallas/Fort Worth and inspire the artist that exists in everyone.

Red Gallery, located at 1217 Main Street, Dallas, Texas, 75201, houses within the multi-level entertainment and nightlife facility of Red Lights in downtown Dallas and shares the same floor as Dallas Tattoo Company.
