Carman Allows Fans to be Executive Producers on New CD

May 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Phoenix, Arizona. – May 07, 2012 Hall of Fame music performer, Carman has launched an electrifying new recording project to satisfy overwhelming fan requests. The long overdue CD is a follow up to the first praise and worship CD he created over 10 years ago.

In a leading-edge move, Licciardello (who is known by his fan base as just "Carman") has chosen to partner with Christian crowdfunding platform, Faithfunder to allow fans to be executive producers. Crowd funding is an alternative form of raising capital that allows multiple individuals to donate to a project. Rather than maintaining an equity position in the venture, the donor is offered a “thank you” memento and the opportunity to participate in a world-changing event. And those who provide the funding also technically become executive producers.

Through Faithfunder, fans can follow the progress of the project, read the regular updates and interact with Carman via the project page. Depending on the donation level, supporters will be gifted with a range of prizes, including an opportunity to sing with him on the record as a part of a vocal ensemble.

The new recording project underway will contain hymns, classic worship tunes and spiritual songs presented in Carman’s unique style. The evangelical performer is noted for his influence over Christian contemporary music. Once named the Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year, he has record sales of over 10 million copies. The artist has been awarded 15 gold and platinum albums.

In a recent interview, Carman voiced an appeal to his fans. “It's been quite a few years since I produced a praise and worship album and after many requests for a follow up CD, with classic and contemporary worship songs, I'm ready to go back in the studio to record it.”
