Grammy Winner David Foster Hands Schatar ”Hottie" Sapphira Mic To Sing At Kennedy Center Gala

May 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Winner of 16 Grammy Awards and counting, producer David Foster Hands Celebrity Schatar “Hottie” Sapphira the microphone to sing at the 2012 Kennedy Center Spring Gala.  

Schatar’s beautiful over 5 octave voice charms the audience of dignitaries, ambassadors and A-Lister supporters of the Kennedy Center with her soaring rendition of Gershwin’s “Summertime”.

Foster is the producer of some biggest hits from “The Bodyguard” and has worked with top global talent including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Earth Wind and Fire, Josh Groban and Barbra Streisand.  

Wearing Designer Tadashi’s flowered purple gown, hair swept to the side, Schatar “Hottie” Sapphira commands the mic and belts out over 5 octave tones in response to David Foster’s quest that he is searching for the next “great one” in a “Kennedy Center Idol” moment.

Schatar believes this quest is fulfilled.  

She immediately goes into “Summertime”, her voice brilliantly going through all 5 octaves to rousing applause.

Schatar proceeds to sing the highest notes, showing tremendous range, skillfully projecting her power house voice which soars over the highest balconies.  

The audience applauds, screams and cheers even more.

“I was so happy to sing at this fundraiser which raised 2.4 million dollars” gushed Schatar Sapphira.

Later in the evening, Chaka Khan, Chris Botti, Jewel and others performed on stage.

After the performances of the Spring Gala, Schatar had fun, mingled and danced at the Kennedy Center’s “Til Midnight Party”.
