Chef-Everest – winner of the Editors’ Choice award for 2012. According to Gear Editor Chris McNamara, "The Camp Chef Everest costs more than a typical two-burner stove but it's worth it. It has two super-powerful burners that put out high BTUs and boil water as fast as any stove we tested. It is the stove we take for a 2-6 people on a 2-6 day trip."
Stansport Outfitters Series -
http://www.outdoorgearlab.com/Camping-Stove-Reviews/Stans... – winner of the Editors’ Choice award for 2012. According to Gear Editor McNamara, "The Stansport Outfitters stove is all about power. Burner power that is. It boiled water as fast any compact stove we tested, even the big Wolf Range style burners on the Camp Chef Pro 60. It is tied for Editors' Choice winner with the Camp Chef Everest because the two stoves are nearly identical other than color and minor cosmetic details. This is the perfect stove for most camping situations."
Coleman PerfectFlow 2-Burner -
http://www.outdoorgearlab.com/Camping-Stove-Reviews/Colem... - winner of the Best Buy award for 2012. This award is given to a product that balances a high score in our tests and a reasonable price. According to McNamara, "The Coleman PerfectFlow is one of the best values in two-burner stoves. It performs well, has reasonable BTU burner output, is light, and is very easy to use and transport. We think of it as the perfect stove for 2-4 trips a year, for 2-4 people, for 2-4 days."
