A Heart For Andrew T-Shirts Available

May 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Andrew Preston Hagewood was born on Feb. 6 at Nashville’s Baptist Hospital, was transported to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt only hours after his birth when enlarged heart was discovered. He had been waiting for a donor ever since. Prayers were answered March 30, 2012 when he underwent a transplant in late March but his body began rejecting the new organ in the days and weeks that followed.

Currently, three-month-old Andrew has a blood clot in his shoulder which produces fluid that comes out of drainage tubes on his side.
Currently,  donations are being accepted to help the family with medical bills and other expenses. Also, a benefit fund has been set up at Region’s Bank in the name of Robert K. Hagewood and Andrew P. Hagewood.

A Donate Life Booth along with a T-Shirt booth will be set up at the Portland, TN Strawberry Festival May 19, 2012.  The booth will be located in front of Jack's Barber Shop.
