May 16, 2012 - PRLog -- One Beat CPR’s first annual Summer Bunker Blast takes place at the Fort Lauderdale Fire & Safety Museum to promote and celebrate National CPR Week. In an effort to promote heart health among families in Broward County, this event will include CPR demonstrations, entertainment, food, and games for parents and children.

In an effort to make Broward County a heart-safe place to live, work, and play, One Beat is committed to sponsoring and organizing community events that not only promote an active lifestyle among children, but also bring awareness to the necessity of being prepared in an emergency, and the increased survival rate of Sudden Cardiac Arrest when an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is present.

“Our job is to make sure that families and businesses are equipped with the knowledge and training to react in an emergency situation; we are grateful that National CPR Week gives us the platform to bring exposure to such an important cause,” states Lon Rosen, founder of One Beat CPR.

One Beat CPR’s Summer Bunker Blast will take place on June 16th, 2012 at the Fort Lauderdale Fire and Safety Museum located at 1022 West Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312. The event is open to the public, and activities include a dunk tank, bounce house, inflatable slides, obstacle course, photo booth, and kid-friendly activities for all ages.
