Build Your Yogurt To Host Grand Opening June 1 At The Copper Tree Mall In Oakland

May 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Build Your Yogurt—Oakland’s premier soft serve yogurt shop—has announced that they will be hosting their official Grand Opening on Friday, June 1 at their new location within the Copper Tree Mall.  

The yogurt store will be reminiscent of ice cream parlors of the past, offering a self-serve bar with a vast assortment of 24 flavors and toppings including fruits, nuts, candies and more.  

And as part of their Grand Opening special, all throughout the day on the 1st they will be giving 20% off of any purchase of their yogurts.  

Owners Joe Gurdal and Samir Saardi have combined their experience running multiple successful bagel delis across New Jersey and have focused their efforts on bringing a family style yogurt shop to the quaint town of Oakland.

“We are happy to bring Build Your Yogurt to Oakland and our hopes are that the shop becomes a staple within the community,” said Joe Gurdal, co-owner of Build Your Yogurt.  
“We want to provide the locals with a pleasant environment where they can come and meet friends and family while enjoying our delicious yogurts!”

Gurdal and Saardi have followed the trends and are quite eager to introduce the borough of Oakland to their frozen snack.

“The demand for frozen yogurt has continued to grow over the past few years as diet conscious people have chosen the sweet snack as an alternative to ice cream,” said Samir Saardi, co-owner of Build Your Yogurt.  “The frozen treat is a perfect cross between traditional ice cream and healthier yogurt based products, and makes for the perfect guilt-free snack.”  

Build Your Yogurt’s official Grand Opening is Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Copper Tree Mall (350 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ 07436).  Hours are Sunday thru Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
