Scottish Rite Freemasons Go Hi-Tech

May 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Scottish Rite Freemasons are using Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube and taken the leap of high technologies to new levels.  The headquarters for the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction, House of the Temple in Washington, DC, the major scene in Dan Brown’s latest novel “The Lost Symbol”, is hosting a historic live web-streaming broadcast worldwide.

On May 19, 2012, the Supreme Council will broadcast via the Internet a six-hour program entitled a “Celebration of the Craft of Scottish Rite Freemasonry”.

Comedian Norm Crosby will host this web-event featuring live music and well-known entertainers such as Ernest Borgnine and Brad Paisley.  

This program will be the first national Masonic production featuring a live online fundraising effort.

It will be broadcast on the Supreme Council’s web site: http://www.scottishrite.org from 6:00 p.m.–Midnight EDT on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
