He recently wrote an article in which he stressed that every Canadian Real Estate Investor should always do their due diligence before purchasing a property. Due diligence includes checking the RCMP website to verify if the property has ever been a grow op. Grow op houses can be health hazards causing problems such as mould and can also can have a devaluate the property itself as well as the value of all the properties in the neighbourhood . The majority of Canadian Real Estate investors prefer to invest in safer communities where their investment can create good rental pools for the residents. Every province is governed by different laws, and in many cases it is not required by law to give full or even partial disclosure to the new home buyer of past offences committed on the property. The RCMP is launching a new website which will open the door for investors to quickly determine whether or not the property was once a grow op. The RMCP has requested Navtaj’s permission to reference his articles into their monthly MGI, which gets sent to their entire force. They have also requested to continuously receive more insights from Navtaj about upcoming events, information and support that would benefit the RCMP. End
