Another reason we prefer large group yard sales is the added variety of personal items for sales. You may only have clothes or a small assortment of items for sale and if you held a sale individually, you would not get many yard sale lookers to stop by. While on the other hand, with more of avariety of items to pick from you will have a much better time looking and buying.

Advertising is the ultimate success tool for yard sales. Place ads in your local newspapers, post signs and directional signs wherever possible, and now the latest rave is to use craigslist.com for announcing your yard sale.

Facebook and Twitter are other places that are being used to really get the word out that you are holding a huge neighborhood yard sale.
