June 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Raeta is a song-writing/production team from Richmond, VA comprised of 801 (songwriter, lead vocals, co-producer) and Stryf Sonik (producer, engineer, supporting vocals) who both have been working in the music industry for almost a decade.

A chance meeting at a local Sam Ash in 2008 set the stage for an explosion of talent through electronic genius and writing skills.  Both 801 and Stryf were meant to create music together.  What they developed were a string of out of the box thinking creations that mesmerize audiences, delight audiences and excite audiences all at the same time.  They are a force in the industry that cannot be stopped.  

Raeta is proud to announce the release of their CD “Thanks, for the Pain”.  This CD encompasses an array of songs that are an insightful view of the human emotion told through the eyes and souls of these remarkable artists.  

“Our songs embody the human element.  Our society drills us to conform and fit a certain mold.  It’s like we’re not allowed to love OR hate anymore.  What most people those to not disclose or talk about, we write songs and sing about”, states 801.  Songs such as “Loner” has an incredible electro/hip hop sound along with hot rhymes and beat.  Their songs (“Do You Know”, “Outta Nowhere”, “Highjacked” and “Infiltrated”) are full of emotion and told through a very expressive form of electro/hip hop beats with exceptional arrangement skills.  They are something to experience.  “Thanks, for the Pain” is available at most digital storefronts.

As individuals, 801 released multiple projects as Lotek.  Stryf Sonik has collaborated with/produced/recorded/mixed and/or mastered over 100 songs with local and regional artists and continues to add new ones to his catalog.  Whether as individuals or as a team, every song they write teaches them something new.  They evolve in many directions but always moving forward to new and exciting adventures.

With multiple releases already planned for the next three years, Raeta's primary objective is to constantly deliver to audiences new stimuli through a fusion of multiple musical genres.
