June 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Sampod is doubling the celebration of the Beach Boys and their 50th Anniversary. The site features them in two places this month: on the ARTIST SPOTLIGHT page, as well as on the SINGING LEGENDS PAGE.  Many Americans grew up with the Beach Boys and are happy that they have settled their differences and have gone back on the road with the same great sound they always had.

The Sampod website has just undergone a major renovation, with new colors and new pages added to make the site even more popular than it has become in the last year. Various subpages have also been added, especially to our most popular pages: "Just Doris Day", "Same Song-Different Version", and "Singing Legends". The site features items related to all areas of entertainment. Webmaster Mike DeVita is happy to have Janet Moore, Christie Sietous and Carol Johnson helping to make it one of the best sites on the internet.
One of the more popular features on sampod is the page devoted to Doris Day. Ironically, her son (Terry Melcher) started his career as a singer in duets with Bruce Johnston, who is a member of the Beach Boys since the mid 60's.
