MAB Celebrity Services Signs Ivan Rodriguez As A Client

June 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Fairfield, NJ  - MAB Celebrity Services announced today that legendary baseball catcher Ivan Rodriguez will join its current roster of clients for the marketing of sports memorabilia and personal appearances effective immediately.

Ivan Rodriguez, nicknamed "Pudge" , was a member of the Texas Rangers, Florida Marlins, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Houston Astros and Washington Nationals. Ivan Rodriguez finished his career with numbers that place him as an all-time catching great in the history of Major League Baseball.  Rodriguez  won the 1999 American League Most Valuable Player Award and holds the record for most games caught by a catcher. Rodriguez compiled 2844 hits, .296 batting average, 311 home runs and 1331 runs batted in. He was named to 14 All Star games.  He was regarded as the best defensive catcher of his era and won 13 Gold Glove Awards. On April 23, 2012 he signed a one day contract with the Texas Rangers and retired from a storied career which will one day end with an induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
