TrailerChix Launches First Food Show Focused on Cooking Fabulously in Micro Spaces on ROTV

June 7, 2012 - PRLog -- TrailerChix.com, a lifestyle e-magazine with readers in over 57 countries, focused on the millions of women and men who live in small eco friendly footprints, will launch its first 4 – 6 minute mini episode on the nationally broadcast  program Rollin’ On TV the first week-end
of June.

“We are seeing an increase in people living year round in travel trailers, tiny houses, floating homes, sail boats, refabs, like the popular shipping container conversions”, said Shelah Johnson, editor in chief, “The challenge is the kitchens are no bigger than a galley and the demographics that are migrating to this lifestyle have no intention of giving up their entertaining lifestyle. We’ve discovered ways to blend the two quite fabulously, so there is no need to compromise.”

Show host, Cooker Britta Nelson (view video), will demo recipes from different locations across the country using local fresh ingredients, basic pantry supplies, and limited kitchen tools. Each week Britta will demo recipes which are simple yet sometimes complex in flavors, such as Chicken Mole with Creamy Cilantro Slaw or Grilled Steak & Chimichurri Sauce with Grilled Romaine Salad with Caesar Vinaigrette.

Viewers will be able to download the recipes demoed along with recipes on how to use the leftovers to create another fabulous meal, complete with pairing ideas.

The cooking segments are sponsored in part by consumer products groups who feel their product can meet the demands of this $171 billion dollar industry. “We are being very selective”, said Mona Heath, VP Sales and Marketing. “Obviously we have limited space in these short segments to showcase products, but we are hoping we can also attract product owners who would like to reach our readers through special offers, such as trial sizes and coupons.”
