Award commemorates highest export during the financial year 2010-11 in the engineering sector.

New Delhi, June 9, 2012: SAME DEUTZ-FAHR, India, one of the leading world renowned manufacturers of tractors distinguished by their German pedigree and formidable international reputation earned another feather in their cap by winning the coveted Export Excellence award for achieving the highest export turnover amounting to an impressive Rs.550 crores ( pertaining to export sales for the last financial year of 5000 units). The award was received recently in Chennai by Mr. Bhanu Sharma, Managing Director & CEO, SDF India, by Rahul Khullar, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Commerce, Govt of India at a ceremony attended by industry heavy-weights. Mr.L.V.Surendhran, CFO, SDF India was also present on this occasion.

DEUTZ-FAHR is an internationally acclaimed brand and this is borne out by the fact that these tractors are exported to countries in Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia as well as to the USA. The Indian manufacturing facility is located in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu near by Chennai. Bhanu Sharma further explained that as a group SDF offers global brands like Deutz Fahr and Lamborghini names that are a hall-mark of quality and reliability worldwide.
