The Kronos Group’s Paul Buchanan Earns Special Company Award After Marathon Charity Effort.

June 12, 2012 - PRLog -- The Kronos group a group of technical professionals, industry specialists and financial professionals committed to spanning the gap between a specific industries technical experts and the investment market based in Hong Kong and Taipei announced today that one of the companies Hong Kong based client relations officer Mr. Paul Buchanan is to be awarded a company award for his charity work. Mr. Buchanan has now completed the 5 Star of World Marathon majors in a calendar year, in aid of his favorite charity Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (HKSPC).

The Kronos Group’s Market and Communications Manager Ms. Louise Lopez said on the achievement “Paul works tirelessly for the HKSPC and uses his annual leave travelling to various Marathons around the world in order to raise funds for the charity, his efforts have been noted by our Chairman Mr. Laraway and Paul is to be honored with Outstanding Achievement award from the Kronos Group. “

Mr. Buchanan has taken part and finished the 5 star Marathons which are Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago and NYC in a full calendar year, his fastest finish was in London where he finished with a time of 2hr 59min 27secs. During his fundraising, Paul managed to raise over $25,000 USD for the HKSPC which deals with education and care for New Born Babies up to 16 year old young adults. Paul will be given his achievement award at the company’s next general meeting in July.

The Kronos Group’s Chairman Mr. Todd Laraway stated “The Kronos Group is tremendously proud of Paul’s achievement and as a company we are going to match the funds raised by Paul during the past calendar year to add to his charitable donation to the HKSPC, which is a very good cause on the Hong Kong Island.”
