Jim Anthony hits it out of the park with his latest release “Good to Be Me”!

June 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Singer and songwriter Jim Anthony was born and raised in Albert Lea, Minnesota.   He began his musical journey when he self taught himself how to play the guitar at the age of 17.  At first, it was melodies, but that quickly developed into songs.  The music he loved then and now is country.   His stories were real life experiences from personal to how he saw the world around him.   He was a storyteller that captured audiences from all over because he told his stories from the heart.  Through his music, he commands your attention and still to this day, after his many successes thus far, he has embraced his life, past and presents with love and honesty to be told through his music for all to enjoy.  

Jim Anthony’s latest CD “Good to Be Me” has received rave reviews. Single “Harding Avenue” leads the way referring to the name of the street that his grandparents lived on all through his childhood.   He has fond memories of those days on Harding Avenue.  As many teenagers ache to leave their hometown, Jim was not any different.  What he could not see then that he sees now is how precious those moments were and how he remembers those days with great fondness.  

“Harding Avenue” has an upbeat, inspirational song.  He tells his story filled with life and happiness.   His visual is so clear he could taste the food and smell the flowers to this day.  This single is only a taste of what is on this new CD.  Jim reflects on his real life in a true authentic manner.  This CD also represents Jim as a lyrical writer and musician.  His album is extremely relatable and a ‘must buy’ in my book.
