BEST Introduces Flux/Paste Dip Plate Tooling for Rework Machines

June 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Rolling Meadows, IL — BEST Inc announces the availability of flux and solder paste dipping plates. These plates are custom made based on the part specifications and BEST’s application know how. The dipping plates are designed, cut and fabricated in Rolling Meadows IL and therefore feature a fast 2-3 day turn time. They are used to insure a consistent coverage of flux or solder paste onto the bottom of a solder ball prior to assembly/rework.

Dipping plates are made from high nickel content stainless steel and are sized to the customer specifications, the rework machine the plate is being mounted to and the device family. The dipping “wells” are liquid tight and are designed to be used when dipping solder balls in to flux or dipping solder paste for PoP or BGA rework/assembly. Most designs are available for $150.00.
