World Champion All-star Cheerleader, Maddie Gardner Signs Sports Management Agreement

Maddie Gardner, considered to be the first cheerleader in the spirit industry to gain celebrity notoriety in the sport, has signed a multi-year management deal with Proformance Sports Marketing and Entertainment, a management and consulting agency based in Austin, Texas.

A role model to thousands of All-Star cheerleaders worldwide, Maddie, one of the "Superstars of All-Stars" ™, recently took home the Gold Medal at Worlds. She has now made history by signing the first-ever sports management contract as an individual cheerleader from the sport.

Maddie began competitive cheerleading at the age of 7 with Cheer Extreme out of Kernersville, NC. Her accolades include three years as part of the Level 5 Jr. and later, the Senior Elite Level 5 All Girl team.  The team won 3 bronze medals, 1 silver and 2 gold medals at the USASF Worlds. At 18, Maddie recently ended her all-star career this past May with a Gold Medal and Gold Scholarship from USASF at the 2012 World Championships.

Proformance will handle all day-to-day business for the Gardner brand, which includes but is not limited to personal appearances, endorsements, commercial modeling and acting assignments as well as television, print and related opportunities.

Maddie will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and plans to major in journalism. Development has already begun underway to create a unique and entertaining format for a weekly series to be hosted by Gardner that will debut in the late fall.
