Smart Buildings, LLC Founder Receives Digital Impact Award

June 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Smart Buildings Managing Partner is a 2012 recipient of the Realcomm Digital Impact Award.  The award acknowledges those individuals who saw things ahead of their associates, had the courage to leave the mainstream and go above and beyond to positively impact the real estate industry through the use of technology, automation and innovation.

Mr. Sinopoli is a pioneer in the industry. For over 25 years, he has designed and engineered operationally efficient, intuitive and sustainable buildings through an integrated design matrix of building systems and technology.  His design work can be found in many building types and uses throughout the US, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America and Africa. He has consulted and lectured government organizations, industry associations and Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Sinopoli’s clients and projects have won many awards including Best Use of Automation, Most Intelligent Office Building, and Building Connectivity Implementation.  Mr. Sinopoli is a recipient of the “Harry J. Pfister” award from the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI).  His company, Smart Buildings, LLC is a 2011 winner for Smart Building Company of the Year by The New Economy.

Mr. Sinopoli is the author of two books, Smart Buildings: a Handbook for the Design and Operation of Building Technology Systems and Smart Buildings Systems for Architects, Owners and Builders. In addition, Mr. Sinopoli serves as Board of Directors Chairman of the Smart Buildings Institute, a non-profit organization that awards building certifications for high performing buildings.
