"A Romantic's Perspective" .com -- introducing The Green Romantic

The Green Romantic is featured among five A Romantic's Perspective (.com) categories. Donning green cat-eye glasses and a green cape, The Green Romantic declares "Part of being a romantic is loving -- and defending! -- the environment."

Jacquée Thomas, known as Jacquée T., is the voice behind 'Romantic's. "When I decided to host a web site under A Romantic's Perspective," she says, "I needed to choose categories to represent and to share my romantic attitude.

"Being a romantic involves being conscientious, respectful and courteous, three characteristics that are easy to make habit. 'The Green Romantic' reminds that the environment also deserves acknowledgement, respect and courtesy. And that offering attention to the environment reaps rewards."

The Green Romantic is featured under the overall 'Romantic's drop down menu, and under 'A romantic in Chicago that features Chicago-specific articles and suggestions. Features so far include "Love for candlelight, burning green is most romantic," "Darling, please send roses but not 'blood roses," and "The bats in our belfry."

The Green Romantic -Chicago features include: "Farmers markets offer the most delicious choices," "The right pumpkins for pie," and "Love living green: three easy ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle."

One fun thing about the 'Romantic's categories is that they at times cross over. For example, a The Green Romantic article featured "Wolf Park presents wolves and bison -- live!" for summer 2011. "For autumn, I featured Wolf Park 'Howl Nights" as a 'Romantic's First Dates article."

"Also, one reader contacted me regarding the farmers market article," Miss Thomas says. "He said that upon reading it he was reminded that his girlfriend liked farmers markets, and he made a point to take her on a 'date' to one. It made them both happy."

A Romantic's Perspective (.com) is designed to inspire the romantic in people, Jacquée T. says, "Simply by sharing my romantic attitude -- and it's working!"
