Follow on Google News | Global Location Strategies Adds John Longshore to TeamCharlotte, NC native John Longshore has joined Global Location Strategies, a South Carolina-based site selection and economic development consultancy, as a business analyst intern.
By: Global Location Strategies A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mr. Longshore holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University, where he is completing requirements to receive his Master’s in City and Regional Planning with emphasis on economic and real estate development. His responsibilities with Global Location Strategies (GLS) will include providing research, analysis and support services to GLS’ portfolio of site selection and incentive negotiation clients. Prior to joining GLS, Mr. Longshore had worked in engineering, training and new product development for both Bosch Inc. and Time Warner Cable. While an undergraduate at Clemson, Mr. Longshore helped establish a non-profit organization in New Orleans that assisted in the reconstruction of residential homes after Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, the American Planners Association, U.S. Green Building Council, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. “We recognize that people, talents and ideas are the very foundation of business success today, and we are pleased to add John to the Global Location Strategies team,” said John Sisson, principal with GLS.
