The exclusive interview with "Jungle Bird" on "Sports and Courts" with host John Phillips can be viewed at http://youtu.be/_ During the victory speech, a man wearing a U.K flag hat stood in front of Costas and Simpson and made a loud, realistic bird call, interrupting the speech. The man was quickly apprehended and escorted off the green. He now goes by "Jungle Bird" as his title, and he was not charged with anything nor did he receive any jail time for the incident. The incident was a publicity stunt in an attempt to raise awareness for his deforestation cause. "Jungle Bird" hopes that we will see the destructive path deforestation causes and the effect it has on our environment and the animals that inhabit these forests. Phillips finds out the U.S. Open isn't the only place he's performed this now popular "bird call', he's done it in front of Queen Elizabeth, in trash cans, and anywhere he can make a statement around the world. Although "Jungle Bird" managed to avoid penalties or prison, this kind of behavior is risky and not recommended. Individuals could find themselves in trouble criminally if they act in such a manner. There are right ways and wrong ways to get the word out about a cause, "Jungle Bird" missed serious reprimands by the skin of his teeth.
