Toastmasters group announces Motivational Speaker Eldonna Lewis-Fernandez at their Open House

Playa Del Rey based Toastmasters group, “Speakers By The Sea” has experienced exceptional success in helping people improve their public speaking skills at their weekly meetings and invites the public to come and learn about Toastmasters.

“Speakers by The Sea” meets every Wednesday promptly at 11 AM in Conference Room 230A at the Pregerson Technical Facility, 12000 Vista Del Mar in Playa Del Rey, and for one hour they encourage the beginning speaker and help the advanced speaker to improve.  (Location is one light South of Imperial Highway on Vista del Mar.)

On July 18, 2012, the group is hosting an Open House at 11 AM with special guest speaker, Master Sargent Eldonna Lewis-Fernandez, also known as “The Pink Biker Chic.”  The retired Master Sargent was deployed to the Middle East after 9/11 and retired from active duty as a contract negotiator in the Air Force in 2003 after 23 years of honorable service.    “Speakers By The Sea” group is honored to have her share her life lessons on “leadership” and “the power of pink” with their group and the public.

The President of “Speakers By The Sea” is Mr. Larry Cosgrove who brings an energetic leadership style that is navigating “Speakers by the Sea” to becoming one of the most popular Toastmasters groups in the South Bay.  With over 20 years of Toastmaster experience, Larry uses his speaking skills to lead a diverse membership of more than 30 members.
