By: MotivatePT Ltd Her reputation for a no-nonsense apporach to fitness has helped her to build up a host of celebrity clients around Birmingham and West Midlands including actors and television personalities. "I wake up every day with a smile on my face eager to find out what my day will bring. How many people can honestly say that about their job" says Sarah. "I am passionate about fitness and I have been fortunate to have worked with such a diverse range of clients from stressed out executives, busy mums and personalities to olympic athletes! No two days are ever the same and this keeps my days varied and interesting." Sarah has worked for many well-know gyms including David Lloyd and Fitness First and she was awarded Personal Trainer of The Year for Fitness First in West Midlands. Sarah now works as a freelance trainer dividing her time between several local studios and traveling to clients in the Birmingham area. "I love the mix of gym-based training and then taking sessions outdoors or to a clients home. Many clients are surprised when I turn up with just a medicine ball, a kettlebell and some TRX straps! Home-based training is nothing like the gym and we don't use treadmills and big weights machines. I prefe to use free weights and TRX which allows the body to move in many different directions and accomodates the shape and size of the client. In fact there are some gym machines that I think can actually be harmful to the way we move. I prefer to advise clients on what they should be doing and machines that actually work." Depsite a busy schedule Sarah has time for appearances on Daybreak TV as a resident fitness expert and she also write fitness articles for The Mail. So what does the future hold for Sarah. "I would love to continue doing what I'm doing and working with a diverse range of clients. In the future I would like to have my own personal training studio in the city of Birmingham as well." Sarah is available for home-visits to clients in the Birmingham area including evenings and weekends. "I can work with individuals or couples of all fitness levels and my goal is to change the way you think and feel about fitness. I believe that everyone can change their body and their health with the right professional support. I make it my mission to change the lives of the clients I work with."
