Steven Maglio Debuts His New Show “Not Just Sinatra” at Feinstein’s Nightclub

July 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Popular Vocalist and Entertainer Steven Maglio will debut his new show, “NOT Just Sinatra” on Monday, August 13, 8pm, at Feinstein’s at Lowes Regency, 540 Park Avenue, in New York City.

“NOT Just Sinatra” will combine songs from Mr. Maglio’s CD, “Songs for Sinatra Lovers” (Nancy, With The Laughing Face, The Girl From Ipanema and Cycles) and great standards that Frank Sinatra never recorded (A Kiss To Build A Dream On, The Glory Of Love and The More I See You).

Backed by a simple jazz trio, Steven Maglio will perform these songs for the very first time on stage. His talented trio includes Bill Gulino on piano, Rich Gutches on guitar and John Hvasta on drums.

Feinstein’s will offer a pre-show dinner at 6pm featuring a very special menu inspired by Chef Sal Scognamillo of Patsy’s Restaurant. Patsy’s Restaurant is a venerable New York City institution founded in 1944. Patsy’s, a traditional, family-owned Italian restaurant operating at their only NY location on West 56th Street in Manhattan has been known for years as Frank Sinatra’s favorite restaurant.

Special gift bags with Patsy’s famous sauce will be given to premium seat guests.

As an acclaimed singer of standards, Steven Maglio is greatly regarded for his renditions of songs made popular by Frank Sinatra.

After hearing Steven Maglio sing at Patsy’s Restaurant at an event to honor Sinatra’s birthday, Actor/Performer Tony Danza kindly commented,” I like Steven’s singing because he pays attention to those minor details that make a song popular, and then puts those details into his own renditions. Mr. Maglio continues to perform his long running nightclub act, Sounds of Sinatra, at The Carnegie Club (156 West 56th Street, NY). Every Saturday evening he swings with the 11- piece Stan Rubin Orchestra as part of two featured shows...Sinatra: Remembering The Sands," at 8:30PM followed by "Sinatra Songs" at 10:30PM.

He has appeared as a guest vocalist with Deana Martin (in the Deana Martin Variety Show conducted by Vincent Falcone), as well as the main attraction at The Rainbow Room, The Blue Note, The Sands Hotel in Atlantic City, The Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, and so many more.

Not only an acclaimed entertainer, he is a working actor, recently appearing in “Once More With Feeling,” starring Chazz Palminteri and Drea de Matteo, and  “Goat,” which features an all-star cast headed by Armand Assante and Ice-T.
