Maurice “M. D. G.” Wyrick , Submit Kingz CEO speaks on making it through the Music Industry

July 6, 2012 - PRLog -- How did you come up with the name Submit Kingz?
Submit Kingz was made up by my brother “Snug” and myself. It came from us playing video games together. We joined forces and ultimately became Submit Kingz. Eventually, I took the name from my brother and started using it for my rap career. Then T3NJ came up with the acronym SUBMIT (Strong Underground Brothas Making It Through) - We are strong at it [rapping]. We are doing it as brothers. We’re making it through. We’re going to accomplish anything through any type of weather. And we are kings, so we are Submit Kingz.

Who is on the label right now and what do they bring to the label?
Right now we have T3NJ, Da Demon and myself, M. D. G. Lordtouch. I think we will bring rawness and reality. Being the strong men that we are, we can stand out in any situation and overcome any obstacles that may come our way. We bring out the best of any situation with our originality and rapping technique.

What do you hope to accomplish with Submit Kingz Records?
My ultimate goal is to be the biggest, independent label out there. I would also like Submit Kingz to become an official brand that sets trends. Hopefully everyone that comes out of this camp will be successful and tour and gain wealth.

What do you think about the current trends in Hip Hop?
It's good. But honestly, I think new material and originality are needed. It's good to have real music and party songs, but some things need to be more original. Hip Hop is always going to go with trends. But sometimes, rappers need to be original in their approach.

What can we look forward to in the future for Submit Kingz?
Better music; better reality. New artists, clothing lines, and video games. The music is just the beginning. I would like to do everything. I would like to put my hands in everything. I want Submit Kingz to be that next official brand.
